Just launched the game and I'm having a problem with resolution. I can't get the game to fit in the screen. I tried playing it in a window, but that didn't do anything. Changing the resolution on my computer didn't help either. I tried getting to the settings page, but if there is an option for windowed play or resolution, it isn't accessible on my screen. Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this? Might help to know I'm running windows 7 on my old laptop for now.

I tried disabling the scaling in properties but, even with administrator checked I can't change any of the setting.

This game was great! I couldn’t play until very end since I reach a passage without options when making preparations for war with the princess and Alice alive.

However I want to say congratulations!

Really liked the story!

Hey! Just wanted to say off the bat, youve done a pretty good job with the game given the timeframe. I took some notes as i played, hopefully it helps you refine the game

Font and music volume options are unchangeable.

Animation, art, and sound design is super nice

The text cards are a little sparse, a lot of empty space there

I like how you pick up new features and unlock new options based on your choices.

There is no context for what "relationship 7" means. It felt rather arbritrarty

"Have I got one more grandchild" "being shocked" is awkward wording.

The eavesdropping scenario is written from the context of taking the choice to eavesdrop, despite offering the choice to go to bed

The story is pretty engaging so far

Ask about the kingdom choice was not obvious that it meant exposing that I eavesdropped. I thought it was just a general querey to see if father would tell the truth.

Some of the text is written in a modern way. e.g. "very funny guys"

It might be worth having the health concequences of the choice written on the card. Some choices like "pick up the blade" didnt signal to me that i was actually picking up shrapnel.

The sound and art design remain great.

Minor wording errors pop up occasionally, for the sake of brevity I wont point out all of them

my suspension of disbelief was broken when the guards decided to beat me up for standing still. Perhaps there wasnt enough context given to the situation for me to make an informed choice.

The background image of serpentine was a jumpscare haha. Probably moreso given the size of my monitor.

Uh oh, i broke the game. After clicking the inventive option, i was offered it again. Clicking it again softlocked me.

I played again and took different choices.

I found that if you ask grandpa why he came, you skip the part where he mentions taking the brother, so that dialogue is a little broken.

Choosing to be quiet in class still results in me chatting to classmates

choosing "stop her" has broken card text on the flip side "event_65_...etc"

stopping her and waiting for the guard should not resolve in me getting beat up

drawing my sword against a group of armed guards should probably get me killed

game stopped offering choices after talking to serpentine long enough.

Overall the game has a pretty good trajectory. The story is good enough so far. I like the additional options you get for making certain choices. So far the story seems very linear, and the choices dont matter a whole lot. Despite that, as a player I do still feel like I achieved something by making those choices. That is to say, I feel like i earned "inventive" even if it didnt really mean much for my ability to complete the game.

Hope that all helps!

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback! I'm aware of the localization errors and am actively working on addressing them. I appreciate your understanding regarding some of the seemingly unreasonable decisions in the game. My intention was to incorporate unintended consequences into the gameplay to create a more immersive experience. For example, when you choose to pick up the blade, it will cut your hand.

While the game follows a linear plot, I designed it in such a way that certain choices, particularly those made toward the end, can influence the ending. Your detailed review has been incredibly helpful, and I will certainly take all of your points into consideration while working on improvements and fixing the bugs you mentioned.

Glad to hear it. Keen to see the story progress!
